The Great Escape of World War II
July 11 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join presenter Rick Feingold as we explore two successful escapes during WWII. The first break-out, from inside a wooden horse, enabled three men to escape a German POW camp. The second one, immortalized in the film ‘The Great Escape,’ featured the building of 100 meter tunnels. Join us to hear about the mastermind behind the plot, the tunnels, the forged identity documents, the “penguins” who scattered tunnel sand, and the real-life story of the three who got away.
