Makers Day is a weekend-long STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) themed celebration that aims to bring makers of all kinds together. Whether you dabble in technology or prefer more traditional crafts, Makers Day is a day to come together to inspire and create!

While programming looks vastly different in the current landscape, New Jersey is still looking forward to this year’s (virtual) Makers Day celebration taking place from Friday March 19th through Saturday March 20th

In celebration, the New Jersey Makers Day website (www.njmakersday.org) will be featuring live streamed videos through the three day period. They will be featuring events focused on origami making, engineering with paper, game design, and much more. If you are interested in participating in this free event, you can RSVP through the NJ Makers Day website (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/njmd-live-registration-140192739257).

The North Bergen Public Library will also be hosting an Among Us Sculpting program on March 20th at 12:00 PM on Zoom for children in grades 2nd and up (Register here)!

Interested in doing some “making” on your own? No worries! The North Bergen Public Library offers an array of STEAM and Maker related books for readers and makers of all ages.
