Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Since the first day of unity in 1981 advocates spend the month connecting with legistlatures and citizens across the country to find an end to Domestic Violence. Next week on October 19 is PurpleThursday which is a day that everyone can show their support for survivors by wearing purple!  In this post, we have included online sources both Nationally and locally as well as book recommendations.
