What is an Aerospace Engineer? Aerospace engineering is the field of design, test and operate aircraft, spacecraft, other related technologies and equipment. There are two types of Aerospace fields: Aeronautical engineering which is focused on aircraft along with the Earth’s atmosphere, and astronautical engineering which focuses on launch vehicles and technologies for space crafts.
