The month of June commemorates lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride. Pride month began following the Stonewall riots in 1969, a major event of the Gay Liberation Movement. Millions across the globe celebrate Pride by participating in marches, throwing parties, visiting LGBT landmarks and historic sites, and more.

The North Bergen Public Library will have several activities in honor of Pride Month and we look forward to you joining us. Check our calendar for upcoming events including
tween button making, poetry open-mic, and more!
